An older relative told me when she was a little girl, her father broke his leg and could not go up the ladder to turn on the lighthouse light for the ships. She was 10 yrs old, scared, prayed for guidance to go up the long stairs black in the darkness of night. She prayed, looked up, and say an angel at the top, wings spread, light glowing down the stairs, so she could go up. She said she never forgot it. That was 50 yrs ago, and I never forgot it either, the day she shared her night in the darkness, when God sent an angel to let her see her way. That is my story, do you have one too?

Hi,look some people are very narrow minded and like to limit God to their own little perceptions, of course there are Angels(messengers of God), and if God sends an Angel to assist one of His children on earth that Angel has the power to make himself visible if needs be.
is it not strange that so many people believe in the realism of things like the Loch Ness monster or little green men etc and yet that reality pertaining to God and His creative order is spurned.
and to answer your question I have seen an Angel, just once in my own life and I do mean that I saw not imagined, I was in terrible spiritual danger and was comforted and reassured by this Heavenly Messenger, and I thank God for sending him.
the Angels of God fight against the dominion of the evil one and his wicked hoards and come to our aid in this spiritual battle, don`t try to prove it as much as believe it.

My father, then 86 years of age, had just returned home from the hospital after major surgery, and he suddenly collapsed in my arms.

He was a big guy, around 200 pounds, and he appeared to be either dead or totally unconscious ... just dead weight ... and extremely hard to handle.

It was all I could do just to hold him up, yet I knew I had to get him down to the floor in order to try to restore his breathing, and get him some help.

The surroundings were very cramped, with only a narrow walkway in which to maneuver. There was no room for me to get out of the way, and lower him to the floor.

My elderly mother was having trouble calling 911, and something had to be done immediately, or he was most certainly going to die.

A quick prayer: "Lord, I could use an angel or two to help me right now, please."

At that moment, my father's weight was gone, and he was lowered gently to the floor. All I needed to do was guide him, and cradle his head.

Once in the prone position, both his color and his breathing returned, although he remained unconscious.

I completed the 911 call, and two teams of paramedics arrived on the scene within minutes.

They did what they could, but advised me that my dad probably wouldn't survive the night, a diagnosis that was later confirmed by a radio telephone hookup with the emergency room physician.

My next call was to our parish priest, who came out and anointed my dad, even though by then it was well after midnight.

Once my father was taken care of and things settled down, I asked my mother to describe what things had looked like, from her point of view.

She was wondering how I managed to lower my father to the floor so gently, too. And she couldn't figure out how I could have done it simply by cradling his head and shoulders.

I explained to her how I had enlisted some very special help at the critical moment, and that I didn't really have much to do after that.

It also happened to be my dad's birthday, and by morning he was well enough to celebrate. We had everyone over for a party later, and I'm happy to report that 2 years later, he's still with us.

This wasn't the first time I've had an angel encounter, and I don't expect it will be the last.

God is good!

My favorite beings are Angels..I believe in them helping you, even when you cannot see them.
A few years ago, my sister was being rushed to the hospital for a life threatening illness, during a blizzard. As I was extremely concerned, both because I was worried that she'd die, and because of the driving in the blizzard, I was praying, on my knees on the floor. I was asking for Jesus's help, and I asked that He surround them with Angels and that everything would work out fine. I also asked for Angels to surround me too, as I was extremely anxious and because of the storm, I couldn't get to the hospital.
As I was asking for these Angels, my dog, Pepper, walked into the room, and she had the most amazing look on her face, as she was staring at the ceiling and all around herself and me.. She looked very peaceful, and there was no doubt in my mind that she was seeing something! I know that it was the Angels that Christ had sent..( I think some animals have a gift of some kind, a sort of 6th sense, maybe) She kept wagging her tail, and looking upward for a few minutes. I felt very secure that God had answered my prayers...and He had! My sister was fine, after a few days and my faith in knowing that God answers prayers and sends His messengers to help us, was realized. I didn't see wings or anything like that; but knowing that my dog had seen them, was all I needed...
True story...and I love Angels..

My father had a similar duty when he was a boy in Germany. It was his turn to
light a town nightlight. He said when he got to the top, he saw his fathers
ghost! And he about broke his neck running down the stairs!
Once, while meditating, a form appeared to my left. It was dressed in a white robe.
It tried to move in front of me, but I was scared. It seemed to sense that and just stood there patiently. I'm afraid I couldn't handle it, and left the room.

Your concentration must be on God, not angels, and additionally your concentration should not be on seeing God yet on having faith and being greater like him. That being mentioned, i in my opinion did have such an adventure. I observed demons nightly previously i grew to become into saved (I dabbled somewhat in the occult back then) and that i as quickly as observed a imaginative and prescient of God. yet that's yet another tale.
