My dear a lot of us have been saying similar things for years but, as we ordinary morsels do not have clout in other words our local M.P. disagrees to save his political skin there isn`t much we can do about it unless I suppose we all gang up & start a war.!

Firstly, by your use of the word "Paki" you are a racist.
Secondly, by your typing, you are illiterate - perhaps you should attend classes and learn how to spell and construct a sentence. That may help you to become less ignorant.
Thirdly, where is your evidnce that the Government is letting Pakistan take over this country? And where is your evidence that those people from Pakistan that do come to this country are trying to force their religion and culture on us? Living in a City where 13% of the population is from different ethnic minorities there is no evidence of this; all people want to do is go about living their own lives, respecting their own cultures. What is the problem with that?
Why has this country become "a farce"? What do you mean?
Since 1997 we have the lowest peacetime unemployment, lowest interest rates, a booming housing market, fewer people living in poverty, people living longer because of improved healthcare, higher educational achievements......this sounds like a success to me, so where is the evidence that the country is going "down the drain"?
The Human Rights Act 1998 guaranteed freedom of speech in law for the first time in British history, therefore your suggestion that we do not have freedom of speech today is a lie. The very fact that you were able to ask such a stupid question proves that we have freedom of speech. Go to China and try asking such a stupid question and then see what happens!

As Clarence Darrow (1857-1938) stated;
"When I was a boy I was told that anybody could become president; I'm beginning to believe it."
We live in strange times, when it appears the world is travelling backwards. We have come to describe the govenment as 'our political masters' when in fact they are the servants of the people.
It seems that whatever party is elected to office quickly forgets their election promises and dictates to the voters the total opposite of that agenda.
Free speech is the duty of a government, not a simply 'right' that can be taken away at a political whim.
The Magna Carta is being torn asunder, a process that began under the governership of Thatcher and continues to be taken apart under Blair and promises to continue further amendment under the (future?) governership of Brown.
It is fortunate that we are seeing an entirely new breed of student slipping into place, one that takes the holistic future of the planet more seriously than the modern-day politician.

Really? Run over by 'Paki's! Now I suppose you have proof of this? Your statement is your view only. Go and look up the most recent census results for your country and tell us what you find out. Why should any British biggot complain about "paki's"? Look at the history of British Imerial policies for the last 300 years. The British split India in two, creating Pakistan - this has caused endless and ongoing war in that region betwwen India and Pakistan. But now having created the problem through your ethnocentric policies you seek to get rid of these "Paki's" who are trying to escape from the mess that your ancestors created.
Only through the study of history, using an un-biased approach (i.e. not to say that you are better just because they are different) will bigots decline in this world, and the sooner the better.

Where is the evidence that this country is being taken over by other races? What exactly do you propose to do about this imagined threat, other than to whine and cry into your full English breakfast? It appears to me that you, amongst others on here, are unaware that we live in a free society where people are allowed to say, worship and love whomever they like. A diverse society with an appreciation of others, others that we, as British people learn from in positive ways. If you do not like it try moving to almost anywhere else in the world and try to make something of your life. When you fail (because you are "foreign") then do not return here.

Yes, the government has let us down. Yes, the government are more interested in other peoples business instead of it's own. Yes the government have turned their backs on helping and listening to it's own people first. Yes this country is on a fast downhill trend because a lot of the English are fed up watching it and moved abroad. Who cares what the host country want to do, that's their business, I certainly wouldn't expect another country to bow to me as this country seems to be doing to it's 'guests'. Of course you will be deemed to be racist - having your own thoughts in this country and saying them out loud is now against the law. You just can't be English anymore, you can't say what you think, you can't do what you want, not like the 'guests' living here; no, YOU have to be careful, YOU have to tip toe. Remember Alf Garnet, that programme on TV? Well I feel just like him and I sometimes sound like him too when I get going. Laugh. Goodbye England for you were once Great

I understand where you are coming from and as a British citizen their is an overcrowded number of immigrants coming over and the government is letting us down. But I don't think you should be to hard on the government because they are trying to do the best they can for everyone.
