if a guy keeps on telling you, "I'll call you, back" and never does. how long should it be til I write him off?

Well my husband in the beginning never called me back after my formal. It took three weeks for me to get up the guts and finally call him. We have been together now for nearly 12 years.
It really depends on the guy and how busy he is. But usually if they dont call forget about them because that means that they would be lazy throughout the entire relationship! Trust me i know from experience- I have never received a valentines present yet.
From watching my other friends in their relationships the best ones are the geeky guys. they tend to treat you like a princess because they are so greatfull to have you. This is what you need to look out for otherwise you are left feeling alone and unloved.
So go for that pudgy nerd! That chick had it right on american pie!

The first time he doesn't call you back. ESPECIALLY when he said he would. An old saying that I have taken some liberties with... "Lie to me once, shame on you... Lie to me twice, shame on me." Think about it & forget about him. There are so, so many young men out in the world that will not lie to you, and I can say this with absolutley no fear of contridiction, that you will find one if you steer clear of the ones that treat you with disrespect... Keep your standards high & never settle...

Is he really worth it to wait around for him to call back? Probably not. Move on chick...a boy like is not worth your time. There are better men out there who know how to respect and treat a lady. He doesn't sound like one of them...have you ever read the book He's Just Not That Into You by Greg...something...it really helped me out, basically common sense stuff that's sort of like BING...lightbulb.

The first time he does it. When are women going to learn that if a man likes you, he will call. If he doesn't call, he's not that into you. Even if he calls now & then but only on his terms, he doesn't dig you as much as you would like him to.
When a man likes you, he will call no matter what.. if he's shy, busy, travelling, whatever... if he likes you a lot, he will call.

Hey, you do not need to write him off. Just ignore he exists and seek yourself another. So when it comes to his mind to call you back, which I think will happen when he is ignored. Give him a finger and laugh.

i always go by the 3 strikes you are out rule. the phone is a tricky thing. if someone doesnt call me back after saying it 2 or more times then i say f... it.

tell him that you deserve a cold treatment like that and you deserve much better.
if he changed after doing so, then continue, but if not.. then dump him..
