Best ones are the metal elements with "spare" electrons.
Gold
Silver
Lead
Copper
Iron
Etc.
PS Pure water doesn't conduct electricity - it's the impurities or trace elements that do the conducting

Starting with the best conductor - Gold, silver, platinum, copper and to that list you can add any other metal. Then there is graphite (a form of carbon). Any solution containing a salt, an acid or an alkali. (The reason people conduct is because of the salts in their bodies and in sweat.) An ionised gas will also conduct electricity.

Water is not in fact a conductor of electricity, but it is such a good solvent, that the impurities within it make it conduct electricity.

Carbon is an excellent conductor, as is graphite

all metals conduct well

Conductors have a sea of free electrons, so when a potential difference is introduced, they flow from positive to negative.

but the best metals are silver, gold and copper,

All metals are good conductors, followed by ionisable gases(non-inert), water,

I cannot think of five different catagories, but beleive it not not there are more insulators then conductors of electricity

Actualy people are a bad conductor on electricity, that is who they get electric shocks, is we are good conductors who will be gegenegate with electrcity passsing through us. The reason we conduct is due to the water content of our bodies.

steel, iron, gold, sliver and Carbon (graphite). even carbon as the form graphite is not a metal it still conducts. carbon on its own can't
