Hi Yes indeed, strictly speaking though we should first acknowledge that we were able to resist the sin due to the grace of God and not under our own power as this would in fact be prideful and would take away the glory and praise that is rightly due to God alone.
every little sacrifice we make is a humble recognition of the great sacrifice of the Lord and indeed is very pleasing to Him, also by our little sacrifices we can help others.

If you dedicate each small victory to him, you are ensuring bigger victories. I will explain when you win and when you think that the victory is because of you then the EGO you have will stop your mind from seeing some realities.
But when you dedicate your victory to god then your mind will be free from EGO, EGO is the route cause of all miseries.

Yes, God cares lots about us, is very close to us (see bible), and appreciates every time where we resist the devil's temptations for his names sake, so you can definitely see it as a sacrifice for him (although in a positive sense). And don't worry too much about the comments about the Qu-ran, there are lots of problems with authenticity and consistency therein

DOES THE QUR’AN CONTAIN EVERYTHING?

Being a Book describing man and the universe, the Quran contains ‘everything’. It declares:

With Him are the keys of the Unseen. None but He knows them. And He knows what is in the land and the sea. Not a leaf falls but with His Knowledge, not a grain amid the darkness of the earth, nothing of wet or dry but (it is noted) in a Manifest Book. (al-An‘am, 6.59)

Ibn Mas‘ud says that the Quran provides information on everything but we may not be able to see everything in it. Ibn ‘Abbas, known as the Interpreter of the Quran and the Scholar of the Ummah, asserts that if he loses the rein of his camel, he can find it by means of the Quran. Jalal al-Din al-Suyuti, a significant scholar who lived in Egypt in the 15th century, explains that all sciences or branches of knowledge are to be found in the Quran.
