I'm a 30 year old female and my feet are a size 4 1/2 or 4 3/4, but not a 5 which is a bare minimum to buy a lot of shoes (actually most shoes are more available in sizes starting from 5.5) so I'm extremely frustrated. I did not have proper nutrition growing up and didn't know any better so i ended up being short 4.75 feet tall, and to make it even worse, i can't find stylish, adult looking shoes in 4.5 sizes. The few that are available in that size are ugly as hell and more expensive than the more "normal" size shoes.

I know and read that feet do expand throughout the day and back to their normal size but i'm looking for something permanent.

Is this an impossible problem? I've heard that feet stretch for some women after pregnancy but i don't plan on having children and my sisters have said that their feet went back to their normal size a while after having their babies so even that's not permanent.

Somebody, please help if you have any knowledge of what i can do, ifanything

I worked for 32 years on my feet almost all the time, and went up a shoe size. But that's doing it the hard way!

If you google "small size shoes" you will find a lot of places that sell small sizes.

If you see a pair that you like in a store , have you ever asked if they could order you a pair in your size?

Have you tried putting a pair of innersoles in a pair of 5's?

I know it must be a real problem for you, but unfortunately there aren't a lot of companies that make small shoes, so I suppose that is why they are more expensive.

One thing you can be thankful for---your feet are in proportion to your height. I knew a woman who was 5' 7" and she wore size 5 1/2 shoes. She looked like she was going to tip over! LOL

I'd try a pair of foam innersoles in a 5. They don't cost much, and maybe just might work! Good luck!
