Try to refrain yourself from brushing your hair more than twice a day and when your hair is wet, use a wide-toothed comb to brush your hair.

Don't comb it when it is wet, this is when it is weakest. Use your fingers to "comb" when possible. A natural bristle brush or a plastic one with lots of give is best. If you can avoid using a hairdryer -- do it! Unless you have really fine hair, use a hair detangler if you are having a hard time.

The most important thing: Brush your hair at the *ends* first. This is where the most tangles are and if you brush from the top, then it will just compound those knots!!

If your in the shower and you put conditioner try combing or brushing your hair. ** brush/ comb your hair the direction it is growing.** (ex. if you tilt your head back and your hair is behind you then brush your hair the direction it is in right now.) After shower, it should be silky smooth but once it dries completly then it will poof up so blow your hair dry with dryer as fast as you can. And also dont brush your hair so much or it will go frizzy for awhile.
Can I get the 10 points now? Please!!!!!

back coming is so not good for your hair
before you combe or brush your hair make sure you have put a conditioning leave in mask on or spray some leave-in conditioner on... then you can guarantee that your hair wont be as knotty and it will be healthier to brush...xxx
