If you truly love someone and are happy in the relationship, would you still do this? Not mild harmless flirting but pretty heavy. Also is this kind of serious flirting considered cheating by some?

If the flirting is heavy, is it possible that the flirter is acctually in love with the recipiant....???? Just because the person already in a relationship is seemingly happy....doesnt mean they are, you dont know what happens behind closed doors, this person could be desperetly unhappy and is just crying out for help but doesnt really know how to ask for it.....

No I would not flirt inappropiately with the opposite because If I was involved with someone i am truely into I would not want to.
The second reason is because flirting (especially heavy) can harm or potentially break up a relationship, I know this because me and my ex-bf broke up because of his endless flirting with other females, sooner or later if you talk enough about certain things the next step is acting them out, and that is exactly what happened.

some people just like to flirt. some cannot seem to help it. it is in the human nature i think. flirting with someone does not mean you do not love the person you are going with.
It would be a problem if, the couple are out together and one is flirting seriously with some one else. that would be very hurtful and disrespectful, mild flirting though is just a self esteem booster, fun etc

No. Very mild harmless flirting yes, but heavy duty stuff is rediculous unless your not happy with your relationship.

If the flirting is heavy enough, and I think we all know what line that is, it is cheating.

No way! I'd consider serious flirting to be cheating.

I don't think it's cheating, but it's certainly inappopriate. Sometimes when a person is feeling insecure about themselves, they flirt more heavily to try to bolster their ego. What's causing his insecurities?

I wouldn't, however, guys don't consider anything cheating unless something actually happens, physically. This will be considered cheating by girls, no doubt.
