I'm a girl of 16. I'm a little fat. So I have to do exercisese regularly. But my mother said me not to do exercises at the time of Period. But that way I'll gain fat again. So what can I do? Will I change the way of exercise at that time (I usually do the abdominal exercises)

Please suggest me how can I loss fat even in the time of Period.

(N.B: Don't suggest me of any Diet Pill*)

All girls bloat up at the time of their period. It is not real weight gain.

You must have easy periods if you can run during them. Take a break for a day or two till the worst is over. Then go back to your regular schedule.

Of course all the running the world will make no difference if you do not eat a healthy fruit, veggie, lean meat diet. NO JUNK FOOD AND READ ALL LABELS. Just make label reading a habit and teach yourself how to eat healthy.

No fast food and should you go there. No fried,
have a salad or yogurt with fruit or eat the burger without the bread. NO FRENCH FRIES.

Keep your portions to the size of a deck of cards.

Good Luck on your weight loss. I am also doing it, down 15 lbs so far.

One of the best times to exercise is when you are "period". I don't know why someone would tell you otherwise. You are only 16 now, as you get older and closing in on finishing period you may experience worse symptoms. Exercise is great anytime.

You can still do exercises during your period. I don't understand why your mom told you not to. IF you aren't in any serious pain you can workout. I workout during my period. It helps decrease the cramps. It also makes periods less painful to workout regularly.

There is no reason why you cannot continue doing your exercises while you are menstruating. If you experience cramping, exercising can relieve that but you might increase your flow- no big deal.
