I took a spiritual gift test to get some idea of what my gift was because I've been wondering if I even had one. Anyway discernment was the one I scored the highest on. I thought maybe it was just mistake or something, so I went to another web site and took another test, which had different kinds of questions and I answered them as honestly as I could and it was the same thing, discernment. My question is, is this a good gift to have and does anybody else have this gift? Serious answer only please!

Hi, discernment is a gift of the Holy Spirit and is not to be confused with worldly cunning for example,it seems that you are involved in your spiritual life and the comforting presence of God is by your side.
we are given this wonderful grace to see our way through the snares of the world and to have a greater understanding of God in our lives, so rejoice and use this gift wisely.

Yes this is a god gift to have... not only because ALL gifts from God are good gifts but because your are able to discern truth (the Word of God) from lies (of the Devil)... I believe that alot of Christians have some form of discernment. Having a relationship with God allows you to be able to know what is of Him and His word and whats not.

Absolutely! It means you question, search, and discover. You think deeply about things, and know why you believe what you believe. It means you know how to listen, and see things from others' points of view, you consider them, and answer honestly even when the answer is that you have no idea. Then you go on searching. It means you have a gift for helping others in their own searches for Truth.

Yes definately! Discernment is absolutely vital when listening to preaching and observing people who claim to be miracle wokes as it will give you the ability to determine truth from lies. The Bible tells us to discern the spirits to see if they are from God as many false teachers have gone out into the world and are deceiving many.
