Change your light bulbs to the energy efficient ones. Turn the thermastat down on your central heating and reduce the time it comes on for. Boil a kettle and put the water in a flask, then you won't have to keep reboiling the kettle. When you use your washing machine make sure it is a full load and wash at a lower temperature. If your clothes are still damp, if you have a conservatory or porch, somewhere where the sun shines through and makes it hot air your clothes in there, saves on using the tumble dryer. Dry your clothes on the washing line. Turn off all appliances at night like your tv, do not leave them on standby. Take a shower rather than a bath. Make sure your home is well insulated. Draft excluders, double glazing, loft insulation. Make sure you have a good tank jacket on your hot water tank. When driving try not to brake to much, slow down gently and when pulling away from traffic lights or a junction, pull away steadily. When cooking, try to cook more than one thing, when the food is cold you can always freeze it, unless it is chicken.

Why bother, energy is made to be spent don't worry about the future it will look after it's self. Pay no attention to the global warming brigade it is scaremongering they will have everyone riding around on bike's if they could. It is a fact that planet earth goes from one extreme to another first we have an ice age then it warms up then it cools, ice returns and so on, it is one of natures cycle's there is nothing you can do about it.
