Sacraments ARE signs from Jesus that bring grace. (Did you mean to say "feel" instead of "fill?" "Feel" or "see" are more correct than "fill.")

"Sacraments are outward signs of inward grace, instituted by Christ for our sanctification (Catechismus concil. Trident., n.4, ex S. Aug. "De Catechizandis"

If by "The Sacraments" you mean simply "Holy Communion", then I don't really understand your question.

Holy Communion is a sharing in the sacrificial "body" and "blood" of Jesus Christ: the elements of bread and wine are symbols of these things. By eating the elements, we join in the sacrifice of Christ, and recieve the benefit of that sacrifice: salvation. This dates back to ancient times, when an animal sacrificed by a worshipper was eaten by both the priest and the worshipper and their families. Consuming the sacrifice meant that the blessing (from God's pleasure in their worship) would be given to those partaking.

If you just mean "Sacraments" in general, then there are seven rites recognized as Sacraments by the RCC. They are:

Baptism
Holy Eucharist
Confirmation
Penance
Extreme Unction
Orders
Matrimony

sacrament(sacramentum) is a visible symbol of divine grace, by their very nature they convey a holy mystery, amd make sacred the outward sign,i.e Baptism and as you say they begin and end with Christ.

The word does say that Christ is the beginning and the end.
