my staffy is 6 weeks pregnant and has a discharge that had a lil blood in it but is now an off white/ yellow colour like an hard boiled egg yolk colour. she is going to vet tomorrow as its night time here so no vet open. does anyone know if this is serious or can just happen in dog pregnancys

yes she is pregnant we had an ultrasound done to be sure.
also she cant be futher along the date she bred has been recorded

dogs are pregnant for about 63 days on average. are you SURE she is only 6 weeks pregnant?
id call the EMERGENCY vet on call! call your regular vet number..see if an answering service picks up and they will page the vet on call.
if not...get the phone book and call every vet number in it!
either she is in pre-term labor, OR she was further along that you thought, and is having those babies...that sounds like her water breaking to me.

i know when they are just on heat the discharge can come in quite funny colours but my american bulldog never had any discharge whilst she was actually pregnant...... are u 100% sure she is pregnant?

i think it is serious...
i have the same problem with my dalmation few years back....
i was excited for a puppy but because of tht discharge she havent any puppy until now.......shecant have puppies anymore i think......
