You say that the qu'ran is the final revelation of God and it's the answer to all humanity! You also say that the Jews and Christians have corrupted their holy books. Isn't this another way of saying God made a mistake to them in the first place? And God never changes His mind, so why didn't He give us the qur'an in the first place?

just curious

"Jews and Christians have corrupted their holy books. Isn't this another way of saying God made a mistake to them in the first place?" Wait a second. If some Jews and Christians corrupt their books, how is it God's mistake?

If a person murders someone, is God responsible for this?

There are now more than 60 versions of the Bible(Different versions not translations The different versions of the Bible are not merely different translations, but are actually versions i.e. they add and remove things from other versions)

These revisions serve as concrete proofs that all the Biblical books are not at all divinely inspired. This is because it is beyond man's ability to correct the work of his Creator, who alone is Almighty and perfect

The previous scriptures were meant for a limited period (and a specific people) that ended with the revelation of what abrogated them and exposed what had taken place in them of distortion and change. That is why they were not protected from corruption

It is man that corrupted the previous scripture, thus u cant find the original message that has been teach by the previous messenger.

The Qur'an is the latest revelaton that God sent , containing message that has not been change till now.
There will be no more revelation after this. We r just waiting for the end time to arrive.

So God doesnt make mistake, men did.

yes its final revelation of God, and it had been revealed for the same reason as He had revealed other Holy books and for the same purpose.......Its not about changing mind.....He has given three holy books before Muhammad(pbuh) so it doent mean that He as at mistake but He felt that another book is needed and the reason was obvious coz other books were corrupted in the sense that peoples had made some addition and were not conveying the proper message.thats why he sent Quran to clearify all, its also telling about other Holy books and indeed a guidance for all humanity.and He has promised that He will protect it Himself and thats a reason that till yet no one could bring a tiny change in it, and there has been proper research carried out to confirm this saying n that proved that Quran is unchanged. Well for all ages he has given books and Quran is a book for us, the Ummah of Muhammad(pbuh)...it suites us best.

peace!!

well.. Real christianety & judism contained almost what qur'an contans concerning belief of God. & when they were corrupted "& it was a test from god to ppl seeing if they'll believe or not". God sent qur'an with prophet Muhammad who believed in jesus &moses. & God himself kept this qur'an the book of God. & told us that Muhammad's the final prophet..& qur'an is the final scrirpture.
I wish u got my point :) if u r still curious try to read the english version of qur'an & email me at queenmero@yahoo.com if u wanna know anything true about ISlam

this is like saying "why didn't God just give us the New Testament in the first place to Christians?". b/ as we know, God gave different revelations to different peoples.

also, how are the mistakes of humans mistakes of God? saying that humans made a mistake in continually interpreting the bible (so that now the bible is a copy of a copy of a copy of a copy......) has no bearing on God's ultimate authority and knowledge.

amongst Muslims and Christians it is agreed that our religions went through a time of progression. If they were no progression in the Jewish faith, there would be no Christianity.

according to your logic all of the Prophets should have been born in one time period and preached in the exact same manner without including the context of the people.... but this is not the reality of our faiths.... Adam(sa) was not born at the same time as Abraham(sa) who was not born at the same time as Jesus(sa) who was not born at the same time as Muhammad (saw)

B/ of the story of Sodom and Gomorrah, was God wrong b/ the people had been led astray? i think not.

the same way Christians view Jesus(sa) as bring the final message of Christianity and Jews don't.... Muslims view Muhammad as bringing the final message of Islam

peace and blessings to all

I read the 3 books to choose my own religion. I will be responsible in front of God at judgment day and I refuse to say I did that because someone told me to do it. I'm not a Muslim because I was born a Muslim it's the religion I chose to follow. Jews and Christians scholars changed their books to have more power over the people whish is not the case in the Qoran because God mentioned that he will protect it. God doesn't do mistakes it's the people who changed their books while they were fully aware of what they're doing are at fault. If you read the Koran you will know the difference. It's flawless.

Nope. I'm not a muslim but I can answer this.

If a bunch of humans muck up the scriptures after the fact then, ..., how does that mean God made a mistake.

I must say you put it rather succinctly, ma'am.

It's a pity that the Muslims have an arrogance, I'm sorry but there is no other term to describe it, about their "Faith".

However, I must caution you, ma'am, to expect some very rude answers and hate mail. Like the Jewish lady said, there's also the chance that this may be deleted for "Violation" and "Abuse". I've seen that happen to anyone who has posted anything questioning that Faith here and suspect there is something wrong here, ma'am.

However, that doesn't change the fact that that "Religion" is full of flaws, like all others, and that the Terrorism unleashed should be decried.

Have a nice day, ma'am.
