Hi there...consider using Nature's Miracle for Cats found in any pet store worldwide. It's an enzymatic neutralizer which removes urine odours by thoroughly soaking the affected areas to let air dry. Depending on how heavily soiled the carpet and padding are repeated applications are necessary.

Well cleaning it up won't solve the problem if you don't get him to stop pissing all over your carpet. If the smell is really rank, that means one of two things. Either he needs to be fixed and is spraying territorally, or he has a bladder infection. You need to take your cat to the vet on Monday morning. He's probably really miserable and you will continue to be miserable until you alleviate whichever problem the poor baby has.

As for your carpet, once you have solved the kitty problem of peeing, rent a rug doctor and shampoo the hell out of it. That should eliminate the smell. If it doesn't you're going to need new carpet.

You have to blank the discipline with a organic liquid/powder and allow it dry earlier than letting the cat again within the identical discipline or the enzimes wouldn't have time to paintings and your cat will conveniently maintain going again there. The identical applies to looking to duvet up the odor with sprays - a few cats discover them very wonderful. Yes, you would check out hanging a clutter tray there - after getting utterly wiped clean it- after which, while your cat has stopped utilizing the ground, GRADUALLY transfer the tray to the discipline you wish it to be. You do not say what number of different cats you've got however this would good be why the concern has began. The rule of thumb is one clutter tray according to cat plus one additional and, despite the fact that I do not know what a Booda field is (I'm within the UK) I'm guessing that it probably a bit of tricky for a cat. Generally you will have to maintain matters useful. Don't use a hooded tray as cats can discover it elaborate to show round and get comfy. Also the odor remains within the field that is first-rate for you however no longer for the cat. Don't use scented clutter - while it will get rainy it offers off a stinky odor which cats can discover unpalatable. Use clutter that is as practically sand as viable - delicate on paws. Above all, maintain the trays blank. Scoop them at any time when they're used and disinfect them as soon as every week. The trays will have to be significant sufficient for the cat to show round in and deep sufficient to have a well scrape round in. Some cats - specifically lengthy haired - is not going to pee and champagne within the identical field that is why you want additional amenities. You would additionally check out sprinkling a few dry meals within the discipline your cat is utilizing inappropriately as cats don't in most cases pee/poo and consume within the identical discipline. Make definite the clutter trays are placed in individual locations clear of glass doorways/home windows in case different cats (and even your possess) are intimidating/guarding the amenities. If you've got a a couple of cat family you rather ought to watch cautiously what's going on as cats can also be very devious. Try hanging additional trays in unique areas - even a cat are not able to safeguard they all directly!

Sorry, I would not keep a cat that was peeing on rug..unless..is there something or someone new in your house...? i.e. another pet, baby, boy or girl friend, the cat is either sick, or getting even, figure that out first, then, oxyclean is great for pet smells, even cat pee. good luck.

Well, I have a question for you. Is he/she still going in the litterbox? Did they before? If they did, take them to a vet, something might be wrong.
