I am mexican-american I have always dated latin girls, but I always wanted to date someone other than latinas. I really feel positive about dating her, I just don't know how I should be on the first date. I'm not shy at all, I just don't want to say the wrong thing. She's really cool, pretty, and I really like her. I met her at my homies house it's his sister's friend. So if any mexican guys out there can give me some advice. It would really help, since I don't have any experiance with dating a white girl.

You want the old, mature him back? Honey, he's never been mature. , since he's a 21, maturity isn't something he's grown into yet. You're too young to get married. Your 20's are for finding out who you are, and you're still a teenager. Go to college, or a vocational school, start a career, save some money, become more established, and then you'll be ready for marriage. (Ideally, you buy a home first, but many folks don't do that.) You have a lot of things to do first before being ready for marriage. As for him, look at it this way. He started out smoking weed and being immature. He went through a more mature phase, and now he's back to his usual ways. What you thought was maturity was actually a phase, because the immature, weed smoking habits are the norm for him. Bottom line: leave. Just leave. I know you don't wanna hear that, you probably don't agree, you think you can change him, etc etc. Please know this and never forget: YOU CANNOT CHANGE ANY MAN. PERIOD. You don't have that kind of power, no woman does. The only person you can ever change is , just as the only person who can change him is himself. Sooo, always take someone AT FACE VALUE. If he's not appealing at face value, bid him well and look elsewhere. It's not worth the heartache and frustration trying to change him. That's not fair to either person. As for Islam, keep learning. I'm glad you're learning, because Islam is a beautiful religion. Congratulations on you becoming closer to God! You don't need him or anyone else to learn about Islam. It's spiritual cultivation, not his, so keep on keeping on. He's said it to you, but it hurts you and you don't wanna hear it. I want you to face what he's said and accept it, even though it hurts. He wants to break up with you. Period. Instead of torturing yourself by staying, just leave. You know who you have if you do that? YOURSELF!!! What a wonderful thing! i am not a mexican male but i want to tell you NOT to listen to DopeSlab...i married a man who is half mexican...i am a white girl, life is good...its not the color of your skin or where you come from it is the life you make TOGETHER that counts and sometimes it can be really cool to bring 2 cultures together...diversity rocks! HOWEVER...don't think there will be a HUGE difference between your "white girl" and the "latina girls" culture has very little to do with WHO a person is....
