I'll be honest with you and tell you that this really is a job for a medical specialist who will examine your injuries very carefully before doing anything major, to determine the extent of the problem. Do NOT try fixing this yourself. You will not be able to recover all the pieces of glass and will only inflict a lot of pain on yourself if you try. Already it sounds like you are showing the symptoms of infection and this can get worse -- especially if you try to remove any glass without following good sterile procedures. The other danger is that these fine splinters can work their way deeper and cause damage to important nerves (including nerves for feeling and movement) and even blood vessels. If you don't have medical insurance then get yourself to a hospital where such an emergency as this can be treated.

Please...

PS: If there is some reason why you cannot get to a doctor, then please email me by clicking on my avatar and going to my profile, and I will pass on some advice of what you can do to try and at least minimize the problem and remove some of the glass. And set up your personal profile to enable an email reply, okay? I'll be online for a while so write me soon if you're in a jam.

I wish I could help you, and I am a self help person, but this really sounds like one for the Dr.
