I posted a couple of places that I lost around 30 to 35 lbs in about wo to three months and i got many responses that sounded concerned.I don't understand why .My Doctor seems to think its great for health.I didn't do it on purpose. We moved to a higher altitude and changed our lifestyle somewhat from eating desserts and about whatever we wanted to a light breakfast and eating a well balance dinner.Sometimes I have a light snack in the evening but not often and since we started eating this way we don't find it necessary to eat that much.We didn't do it on purpose but according to the doctor its a good thing.I just didn't understand that shock of people saying they worried about the weight loss that quickly .Its not like it was only me so that rules out somekind of weird illness she lost about that much as well.We both needed it becasue we used to eat out alot and really go all out for big desserts and lots of food.We stopped eating out and that helped alot and we eat healthy .?????????

if you lost that amount in two weeks, then it would be something to be worried about, but two months sounds perfectly fine to me. You have clearly done it the right way by what you say in your information & if there is no adverse affects from it, dont worry what others say. Happy healthy life!!

It would depend on where you started from. If you were over 200 lbs. when you started, then yes, I would say that was wonderful. You turned yourself around and are regaining muscle to replace the fat.

The higher altitude also helps, of course; metabolism adapts at a higher level to accommodate. I understand there are also puns in "Rocky Mountain High" that involve the fact that your brain chemistry is also different at a higher altitude, which is noticeable to someone adapted to high altitudes when they visit the ocean.

People who hear about this level of weight loss, however, probably do not have that much to begin with, and they imagine themselves losing that much that fast. In addition to envy, they find a great fear, because for their smaller bodies, losing that much would be alarming. They think dramatic stuff like wasting diseases.

It's all in the proportions, folks. It depends on where you're starting from. Some of us have a great deal to start from.
