No amount of scrubbing and and hand soaps simply get rid of the entire smell. Its impossible to wear gloves and scrap off the skin of a squid, too slippery.

Take a lemon cut in half rub it over your hands.

Have a lemon nearby after cleaning the calamari and rub hands with that.

wear gloves when cleaning. the type that are tight fighting (like surgeons wear when operating)
this way you wont have any smell at all
that what i do and then just throw them away
