How can i become a comedian?

to become a comedian can i write stuff down from the newspaper,television,radio,internet about my life, you know just about millions of things turn it around to make it funny

Take my advice and watch as many stand-up comedies you can. Watch every Adam Sandler and Jim Carrey movie and you will catch thier comedy flu, trust me it will help. And try creating your own jokes, even if they are stupid...i just came up with one now and look how stupid it is:

A man walks down the street and sees a blind man, and he talks to him and tells him "You know I was once blind, until a miracle happened"

Then the blind man says "I see..."

I am not a comedian, but listening to Jay Leno, he started working small clubs all over the country, he was so poor at one point he lived in his car. If you want to become a comedy writer get an agent, Conan O'Brien started as a comedy writer on Saturday Night Live, you may want to check out some books written by famous Comedians at your local library, if they don't have them, they can order them for you. If it's stand-up you want to do, write some material and practice it in front of a mirror. Once you got that down, take advantage of an open mike night at a local comedy club.
