I don't really have any motivation. I guess I just do it. If I am loving other people I am serving Christ. It isn't a concious thought. I don't wake up with a checklist of good things to do for Jesus today. He changes us. Our hearts change when we dedicate ourselves to him. Everything we do is then an act in serving Christ. Sometimes we don't serve him well but as soon as we derive a "motivation" then it becomes a selfish act and the glory to God disappears. Jesus says that all things should be done to bring glory to God's name. Are you brining glory to his name or your own?

To serve other people.

By truly serving Christ we are serving others and vice versa. Christ asks that we serve all people regardless of their race, color, creed, religion, etc.

Wouldn't it be a nice place to live if we ALL tried to serve others rather than expect to be served? Think about it :-)

why do you need "motiviation" if you have faith?
motivation seems to be a term for "what's in it for me" attitude. service of Christ for Christians should be because that is what must be done. otherwise you question the will of the Almighty. not a good thing to do in my estimation and understanding. serve without question or need for motivation and that is selfless; everything else is selfish
