I was at a party with my boyfriend and my ex started pushing him around. Next thing you know he was beating him up! My boyfriend got two black eyes and a swollen lip, but my ex didn't get hurt at all. My boyfriend was crying and begging my ex to stop and so was I. We were very frightened. Is there any way for my boyfriend to know that I still love him and that I don't think bad of him?

Tell him that your ex took cheap shots at him during the fight.
If that doesn't work, you could always fall back on the biggest confidence booster.
"Honey, he may be stronger then you, but you are packing more in the pants then he ever could."
*Calling the cops will only make your boyfriend feel worse, as well as getting your friends to beat your ex up. It will make him feel like you will always need your friends to bail him out in the future.

You have to prove it to him by explaining to him clearly and truthfully why nothing between you too has changed. He is going to feel like he's not man enough for you after this. Like he's worthless and can't even stand up to a guy in front of his girl. He's got quite a wound.
If that happened to me though, I'd be pretty much done with the relationship and take a year to myself toughening up and learning how to be a man before I ever date again. It would take an incredible woman to get me dating again before I finish that. No way would I let that happen again.
Here's where the thumbs down begins:
I wonder if your one of those girls who dates a bad boy (like your ex), gets fed up with not being able to control or change him so you date a weak super sensitive guy who's easier for you to manage. Only to ifnd out that the reason he's easier to manage is because he has no dignity. But to you he seems like an innocent sweet guy. I see many girls making this mistake with guys.

Tell your boyfriend to snap out of it,he copped a smack in the mouth so what,he's a big boy now,but then again you know what men are like ,,he wants to rule the roost ,and it would be a bit hard for him,after you wittnessing him getting beat up,he must really,really like you,if it worries him so much ..............
i think he should just get over it,and continue on loving you...
There is always some one out their whos bigger and stronger than us all,it just so happen for him it was your ex,so y is your ex beating on your new man,still must love you.Otherwise he wouldnt worry about it,

Why to put your boyfriend in a situation where he has to face a heavy docker ex ... ?? ... knowing he cannot face the Mack ?
I must also say that the new bf has to defend himself in a way and get revenge. Help him for that.
I would be the weak one, I would hire a couple of blokes equipped with bats and give the ex a lesson...

Look`s like is too coward to do something. Now, if you are quilty to continue friendship with youre ex, you should think about to a next cach! If not punish youre ex by calling the cops! That should do it!

You need to stop going to parties where guys act like assssssses.
You need better quality guys.
You current bf has his own issues to deal with. This could be an indicator of his future behavior. He might not have a backbone.
Probably both of the guys aren't work the time of day.

well call him and tell him that you love him and let him know that you didn't have anything to do with it. let him know that because he could think that you and your ex is messing around and that's why he beat him up.your boyfriend need to press charges against your ex. to teach him a lesson that you can't go around beating up people.

Yes, report your ex to the police, otherwise he will think that he can just do it anytime he wants to, and maybe even to you.
