i dont think that humans can comprehend what god is. god isnt a a noun (as in god isnt a person, place, thing or even an idea) god cant be described. thats how i feel, everyone has their own definition of what god is, but to me god is undefined.

God is love & mercyful "But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us"(Eph 2:4), God is just "For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, beign put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the spirit" (1Peter3:18). He is the creator "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth" (Gen 1:1) "And thou, Lord in the begining hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of your hands" (Heb 1:10) God is the beginning & the end "I'am the alpha and omega, the beginning and the ending,saith the Lord , which is, and which was,and is to come, the almighty"(Rev 1:8) God is a jealous God "For thou shall worship no other god: for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God"(Ex 34:14) This is just the start you could go on for ever about who God is! if you want to know more i could email you, so just email me if you want this to happen.

In the beginning there was the word and the word was GOD. God is always so near He is only hidden by a thin veil. God is forgiving and God looks after his chosen servants. I have never known any one who has looked after me better than God Himself

I believe in a Higher Power that is the Divine Energy Source of all creation. (Nature's God).

i think the first book of the Bible says that we will never understand God. since i believe the Bible i don't even try. i have no means of aquiring that information if i did want to know. maybe it would be better for you to try and figure out who God is.
