I will also add that children attend this college in the summer and there is an elemtary school accross the street from this college. What do you think should be done?

America had such a prudish attitude towards sex that it encourages this in a sense. Sex is a natural, biological response built into our DNA and we have spent centruries trying to deny it and say it's dirty and wrong. Once we finally get it thru our heads that it's ok and take the stigma off of it, we'll see less of this. We've given it a forbidden excitement that encourages people to take risks and want to do this in public places. Perhaps if we gave up the fight against sex people would relax about it and move the party to their own bedrooms.

I'm not sure what an elemtary school is... maybe I'm not educated enough.
As to the problem of sex occurring on a college campus in public places, that being a crime, it's not a Christian's job to deal with it unless they are an officer of the peace. Perhaps you wish to picket there? Perhaps you want to over react and shut down the college?
Here's a novel idea... why not encourage the school to take sterner measures. Shut down the web site used by these people. Have somebody monitor randomly the restrooms. Expell the students engaging in such actions.
If you, in the name of Christ are going to get up in arms about this incident, why not do a survey of ALL PUBLIC RESTROOMS, as it happens in most. Here's a great idea... outlaw public restrooms, and then it won't happen.
Also, it may seem strange, but just because people are having sex across the street from an ELEMENTARY school, doesn't necessarily mean that they are interested in having sex with children. Just because children are attending summer school (WHEN COLLEGE STUDENTS ARE OFF) doesn't mean that children are at risk. Children live with parents who have sex and aren't adversly affected.
Again, it's not a Christian problem but a legal one. notify someone of the problem (redundant if it alread made the newspaper) if it makes you feel better, and if you want, find something more to complain about. It's not something you're going to affect.

as the story said..this is not limited to the college..it's nationwide..I've seen the same things (messages and hole..not the actual activity, thankfully) in public restrooms
around the country.
What can be done...prosecution for public lewdness/vandalism...expulsion... bear traps (just kidding). That's really about it, if people won't stop the behavior themselves. It's really sad that they engage in such behavior not even fearing death from AIDS.
