So, I go to this party, and my old buddy, who I never really got along with is there. He just met this girl right before I got there. Richard is a great guy at first, but then he starts having all these emotional problems... which is really none of my business between him and his girl. But I had a great time, talking to the girl and stuff, and we kind of hit it off.
Honestly I don't really like Richard all that much, but I'm supposed to be a friend none the less. Anyway, so I drop the two of them off at his house and he sits there talking to my other buddy, while I go off and chat with Ana. We hit it off so well that she gives me her number (I didn't ask for it). Things went really well, so I don't see her as the slutty type or the type to go from one guy to the next.
I could never stab a guy in the back, no matter how much I don't like his weird emotional states. But I really like this girl. So how do I go about this the right way?

Dicky did see the girl first, and then later in the night she gives the number to you without prompting...
Interesting. Clearly then she cares little for our man Dicky's advances and is more interested in you.
That said, our man Dicky is not going to be a happy camper if this Ana bird suddenly shacks up with you is he!?
I'd persue Ana covertly until she clearly spells out to Dicky that she's not interested. Then you guys can go public with the fact that you and her are an item.
But its all early days yet- lets not get too excited here.
And if you don't like Dicky and he gets all uppity- spell it out to him that you're not fond of him, that Ana made the first move on you (not the other way around) and if he has an issue with that- tell him that he and your right fist may like to have a chat!

Don't put a girl before your friends. No matter how much of a sweetheart she might be (and no matter how much of an emotionaly wreck your friend is), she is hands off territory. I would suggest not even calling her. Unless you talk to your friend about it first, then that might be ok. Unless you're willing to lose Richard as a friend (and all the mutual aquaintances you have) for this girl, I'd say let her go and find someone eligible who won't mess up your friendships.
Or you could talk to him about it, but if he really likes her he might be upset with you, so I would tred carefuly if you decide to do this. Once again, really think about if this girl is worth messing up your life for.

Walk away if this fella is a good friend to u. Dont eva let a female stop yall from bein tight. Remember boys come before females. Dont let a female stop this cat from bein yo boy. I had to boyz let a scandal riddin female stop them from even talkin to each other. This has gone on for bout two years now and both of them are my boys and Im left in the middle. Dont come to my land. If this guy is some clown, BEAT THE BREAKS OF THAT BROAD!!!!!!

I have not have been given any thought why he hasn't contacted to you. that's an entire array of issues. a team of insanely unlucky activities could have got here approximately. A lost telephone/no credit, he forgot, he's status you up... could you extremely locate out, or take a seat there all night dropping time waiting? call him.

I am little confused if you just met her at the party before you got there than what is the problem if she picked you over him that is her right to do so. So call her. If they are in a relationship than I guess your screwed.

The point is she likes u, it wasn't his gf or anything, he just met her just like u did. You didn't ask for her number, she gave it to u so u haven't done anything wrong. Now if that would have been his gf that would be another story. There is nothing wrong with calling her.

On Monday, send the girl flowers with your telephone number. If she is interested she will call you. Let her make the first move that way your friend won't be angry at YOU.

just call her up,talk a bit and then just be comfortable wit her. let her take the initiative and then if you think that you love her then say yes. but try to be very friendly and caring with her. all the best..

is ana richard's girlfriend....dont be stupid..dont cheat..the girl is just MAYBE playing...dont end up in a stupid fight...find someone else..stop your emotion until shes free..but dont think of a demonic plan to break them apart....
