I want a purple themed Christmas tree this year. I need purple lights. If it's a 100 bulb strand it has to cost under $6 with cheap shipping. I'm also looking for cheap purple ornaments. I already found some great purple garland at a dollar store. This is my first Christmas tree of my very own.

You shoulda bought them right after Easter! :) Ok, try in-store at Target (you could ask if they have any leftover Easter gear in the back, it's worth a try anyway) or Michael's. Here are some online places:

Look for Halloween clearance sales. They sell purple lighs for Halloween decorations. Try a party store like Party City

Have you tried Wal-Mart? I just bought several strands for my daughter's tree and they were 100 bulb strands for $1.97! Good Luck!

They might have some on ebay, or try a halloween website. I got some for halloween that were 4 bucks on sale.
