How can I know if he likes me?

What sort of signs does a shy guy give if he is interested in you? I don't see him very often, but he focuses more on me than on my friends.

hang out with him alone sometime..
1) if he keeps looking at you when your not in his view.
2) if he tries to find excuses to touch you.
3) if he smiles at you alot.
4) if he keeps trying to make jokes.
5) if your not talking and its silent he keeps trying to come up with something to talk about.
6) if he keeps touching his hair
7) if he tries to sit a little closer and closer to you every time he gets next to you.
8) if he seems really nervous

It's always the quiet ones... and trying to figure out men is like trying to figure out women....impossible. But if your up to the challenge start by infiltrating his social circle. Then strategically show up somewhere unannounced ( tag along with a mutual friend whenever possible) and make a pass at him... cause most shy guys don't escalate things to a physical level no matter how interested they are. Usually shy guys aren't the playa types but, move first then reevaluate.
