First of all, I would take some time to grieve! That's right..the loss of a love and a broken heart needs time to heal. I do not think trying to replace that feeling yet is the right move. Take some time to yourself, feel sad, acknowledge your pain and slowly allow your heart to return to it's former self.

After a reasonable time feeling sad (you'll know when you have had enough) slowly come out and join the world. Spend time with family and friends, pursue hobbies, do things that interest you. That serves two purposes really! First, doing these things will fill the void that you were previously feeling and begin to make you feel happy again, and, if you are happy and involved in the things you enjoy most, you leave yourself open to eventually meet someone else and feel that type of happiness again. Best wishes to you...and...take it really ....s l o w .

The one that got away will end up to be your best friend or not worth it... there's a million fish kid and you already have a pole... use it! I can't really comment on your current situation cause your question is kinda scattered but, in most cases my own included love is heart break and waiting at least the first couple of times. You can't make someone feel the same way as you feel about them you just have to accept things for what they are... they might not even be past saving... I was always way to nice, don't let any female walk all over you, but at the same time don't be a psychopath but most importantly to love anybody you have to love yourself. That might take a little work but in the median time chill out it's not the end of the world!!!! unless the world ends tomorrow and we don't know it.

Be honest and communicate.

Laugh and act silly, my heart was broken a month ago and I feel excellent. Just move on, light is at the end of the tunnel.

True love can only be given by a parent to his/her child. That love is unconditional. Even then, that unconditional kind of love is impermanent. We all need love and attached to the pleasant feelings of love. That attachment is the source of problem.

Remember, all things are impermanent. That's the nature of life. Love is impermanent. Don't expect love to be there all the time. Now you see love, now you don't. That's the way it is. Learn to accept it and be over it.

I feel the way that you do. I'm sorry you feel this way. I'm trying to get over it with the help of my friends and co-workers and that is good. Just put more into your life and don't worry about anything else. Learn new things, get a new hobby.
