my girlfriend cheated on me a few days ago i caught them. im gutted but i dont know what to do, i want to leave her and know its the right thing to do but i just want to know i it possible to get this feeling i have for her with someone else, can i ever love someone the same way again

Listen, if you felt this way about a woman that would cheat on you, imagine how you will feel when you find a woman who wouldn't dream of cheating on you because she loves you so much. MOVE ON. People who cheat are selfish and have no respect for others. Don't let this heartless whore ruin your ability to find love.
You fell like you loved this woman, but you can't have truly loved someone who would treat you like this. You can find that someone to really love though. Just give yourself some time, date a bit, but don't get serious until you can see the true person.

I've always gone by "once a cheater, always a cheater." As long as you don't let the memory hurt you in the future, yes you can have that feeling, and maybe an even better feeling, for someone else. It will take time though, depending on how long you've been with this girl and how close you two were. But don't let that get to you. Relationships can be rebuilt, it just takes time.

Dont worry! I know right now you feel like you'll never feel as good as you did when you were with her but you will! She obviously didnt feel the same way back. I know thats harsh but its gotta be true if she could cheat. Be strong. Leave her. Dont let her come back for any reason! In the end, you'll meet someone who will feel the same way towards you. Then it will be 1,000 times better.

That must have been a horrible experience for you! Anyone would be devastated in that situation.
Give it time to heal, though, and don't become bitter against all women based on one person's behavior. Sometimes when something bad happens, we are actually being protected from something worse. (For instance: Aren't you glad you weren't MARRIED to her when this happened?)
