I work with this girl. She is a server and I am bartender. We only work 1 day week together. Recently I went to a party she was at and she was smokin pot which is something I don't do or like. Anyway, we said hello and she introduced her bf to me and all. All was fine. A couple of days later I come into work and she is all weird around. She told a fellow co-worker that she felt weird around me since that night. I approached her and asked her why she feels this way. She smiled and put her head down and said I dunno. I told her it's all good no biggie. She went on to defend herself that she doesn't do it alot. Like all nervous. Later that day she was telling me about how she doesn't think her and bf are going to work ou t for whatever reason. She was talking to me more and asking me questions about myself. I am humble person and don't think every women is after me but does this women seem like she is interested? Why would she care about what I think. Yes, I am attracted her and like her.

Hi there,
It appears that this women has interest in you and is emarrassed that you know she smokes. She is simply defending her position to get the point across that it's just a social thing for her and she doesn't want you to get the wrong impression that she is a full time pot head as she does obviously care about what you think of her. My advice to you is that you are interested in her and just be honest and explain that smoking isn't your choice and you except she does occasionally and let her know your interested and i am certain if you start seing her and she really likes you the pot wont be an issue because if she really likes you i believe she would not indulge in such activities around you and again tell her its no biggie and that if things turn to garbage with the boyfriend you would possibly like to pursue something with her. Sounds like she is interested. She shouldn't be pursuing others if she already has a boyfriend. Maybe she's the type to use her boyfriend as a safety net until somebody else comes along. Some people are afraid of being alone and they will not break up with their girlfriend/boyfriend unless somebody else is waiting for them. Stay away from people like this, they are users.
I think it's better if you find someone that doesn't smoke pot and doesn't have a boyfriend.

why is she acting weird well because if you did not smoke with her and this is something she likes to do she does not want you to judge her and be turned off. She likes you. But wait until the bf is totally out of the picture before you make a move

it does sound like this girl is interested in you. sure, there is a good possibility that she would be embarrased no matter who know her lifestyle BUT she was discussing her current relationship with you also. Not too sure if this chic has a lot going for her but it does seem there is some kind of interest there.

Why do you care what her thoughts are? She is a pot-head and she obviously would have no problem cheating on her current boyfriend. Would you really want to be involved with someone like that?

Be careful. I don't know how old you are or how old she is but to me it sounds like you are dealing with a child (mentality). And if you do date her...you both work at the same place. If it don't work out and she cause problems...you may be the one looking for a new job.
Never date in your own backyard.

Yes, it does sound a little suss but don't jump to conclusions. Wait a little and see what happens. Get to know her better and that should help you see if she is just feeling sad about breaking up with her bf and needs someone to talk to or if she does like you but wants to know you better first.
