Your perception of weakness is messed up too.
Having the strength to ask for help is the first step to healing. People aren't designed to be alone. Being alone is your choice. If you can be at peace with yourself, your ok. If your struggling to go outside or enjoy time with others, you may need professional help. Find someone who you can trust. A pastor, teacher, or counselor. Don't be afraid to share with others or be hurt by what other people might think about you. Stay away from doctors who would prefer to write scripts than talk. There may be on-line forums, or chat rooms you can check out that have others who write about their psychoses , but that's not what you need. Learn to be at peace with yourself first. Practice meditation and prayer. It will benefit you better than Isolation and prescriptions.

Do a web search typing in the key words: on line counseling for depression or similar words.

When my teenage children are low on Vitamin B complex, that's the B vitamins, they are more down than usual. Also, if you are low on Iron you can become weak. Both my children's stomachs are easily upset so on the B vitamins I buy 1 pill with all the B's together in a soft gel form, it's easier on the stomach, and the Iron has to be labeled gentle on the stomach formula. If you're low on calcium it can effect your mood too, and if you don't drink enough water also. One last thing are you getting enough sleep? My daughters sleep doctor tells her she should get 9 hours of sleep at night, which the sleep specialist says teenagers should get. Next to impossible most days.
Best of luck, and hugs too.

Welcome to the teenage wasteland!

My theory is that insanity is part of growing up. Seriously, the people who think they are totally sane are usually the ones who strap explosives to their own bodies and blow stuff up. As long as you don't feel like you are going to kill yourself and don't totally withdraw, you should be mostly ok.

Your main problem sounds like loneliness. Face-to-face friends are better, but if you need social contact over the net there are lots of things out there.

If you want to socialize, there are a billion sites. Facebook, Myspace etc. I personally recommend www.takingitglobal.org which is a site for intellectual teens and young adults from all over the world. You can share your views on politics, religion, philosophy, current events, how to save the world etc with your friends.

However, it is wrong to try to steer you towards my favorite site. You may like something totally different, like one of the MMOs (I hated Runescape, but that's my opinion).

The trick to making friends is to be forward and outgoing. Say hello to someone, even if you don't know if they will like you. This only works some of the time, but avoiding other people entirely works none of the time. Get to it! Being antisocial is no fun (in my experience).

hey, i think we've all been there. I had a friend in high school who was perfect in everything accept for asking for help because she was under so much pressure. she would actually hit her face on the wall for feeling ungrateful for all that she had and who loved her as a form of punishment. people need to see the not so perfect side of you, like not always dressing perfect or having your hair in just a ponytail or something out of the ordinary for you. you could talk to your school counselor too. Give yourself credit for looking for a bit of assistance early on.

Aren't you in school?

Talk to your counsler. If that does not help or is not an option. From someone that will listen to you. A teacher, someone at church, a friends parent, someone. Make your parents listen.
