My mom burned herself with cooking oil the other day. and they turned into blisters. she already put aloe vera on it. but is there anything else she should do?

Pop the blisters with a sterile needle then drain the puss being careful not to disenfect. Apply a dry sterile bandage and change regularly. Aloe vera is only for minor sunburns, not third or second degree.

if it has blistered they are 2nd degree burns and she should have silvadene cream, which is a prescription, and you never apply a dry dressing to burns. You cleanse with sterile saline solution, and clip dead tissue away, called debriding.....then apply silvadene cream to just the burned area, and cover with a sterile non stick pad, then gauze pad. You change dressings twice a day until new skin forms and watch for infection. She also needs to stay well hydrated.

Right when it happens use ketchup on it!
U can try this now, it might help, the cooks in the resturants
use this trick all the time, they get burned on ther grills and the broilers all the time, it works like a charm! Really!!!

Go to the doctor and get her burns treated right away don,t weight

cleanse the area . and if you use vitamin e it will help . the E also helps it scar less
