You can work out your abs every day. They are the only muscle on the body that is like that. You can get away with working them out 4-5 days a week and that is enough, or you could do like 100 sit ups in the morning and 100 at night or wahtever you wanted. Work them out more. If you want to know if you have abs flex them and run your hands up and down your stomach. If you can feel ridges where there would be the definition for a six pack that means you have good definiton in your abs and you need to increase your cardio. I would guess that your problem would be the cardio. Do some sort of cardio to raise your heart rate for at least 4 days a week for at least a half an hour each time. Hope this helps you out.

this guy is right... you want cardio, and perhaps nutritional changes..
good:
protein, beneficial fats(omegas),fiber,USRDA of all vitamins/minerals,all the antioxidants and phytochemicals and other good stuff in whole, natural foods and herbs, and optionally some amino acid support
eat often but eat moderate portions.
bad:
refined carbs, saturated fat, commercially prepared food (junk food, convenience food)

I know it's hard to control diet as a 16 year old, but perhaps your parents are the helpful type.

I like the ab lounge... they are not b.s.'ing about the form being better.

don't neglect your back... you are concentrating on the front of your body which is only natural. get a couple mirrors and look at your posture from the side from time to time, make sure you are not neglecting your back. lower back + abs = _core_

As someone else suggested - do more crunches and leg lifts and stuff. Situps don't really work your abs as much as you might think. Instead, there are long smooth muscles running down your side that take the brunt of the work in a full situp.

Good luck! I'm trying to get my stubborn six-pack too!

an staggering exercising, you're able to do it in front of your television: take a seat on a stool, and placed your ft under something (piece of heavy furnishings, working example). on your palms carry slightly dumbbell. Please, verify that it is not very heavy, start up with one kilo, working example, or you will harm your lower back and backbone! Slowly pass the top element of your physique lower back, till it is parallel with the floor. stop for a 2nd and pass it lower back to the sitting place. Repeat ten circumstances. each and every week upload to the variety of repetitions. you will see the ends up in each and every week, certain! you will see or sense under the fat - in case you have any - six %. and muscular tissues. Dumbbells do wonders. lots extra valuable than those crunches - I got here as much as 3 hundreds and there became into no outcomes in any respect. With the dumbbells you will see it in each and every week.
