I don't think so but they are afraid of the U.S and will do what they want if requested but India does not really get into the picture in the war on terror.

In a way yes. USA does not want Pakistan to get hurt.
Secondly USA knows that PAK uses american aid to fight India.

No India and Pakistan still pretty much hate each other. It's just that there's something bigger going on in that region right now. Once the taliban are mopped up and we can leave Afghanistan, they will go back to threatening each other with nukes over Kashmir.
