Age, race, education, interests, hobbies...
Ever been in jail? Why?
History of alcohol and drug abuse?
Smoker?
Pets?
Do not rush into anything. Get a picture of the person and figure some way to verify that the person's name and picture represent that person at this moment in time; verify the history especially the jail and alcohol and drugs. Tell that person that you need absolute verification because you are frankly afraid and do not want to waste his or your time.
Never give you right name, address, phone or clues to where you live or exist without a true picture of that person.
If the person is honest he will not care.
Lots of married guys masquerade as singles and younger than they are.
I know. I have done all those things and was a jerk. I hurt the feelings of a sweet girl by being a selfish jerk. Do not be someone's victim. Good luck.

See what he likes to do for fun.
What he does for a living (or what school he goes to).
What kinda music he likes.
Anything you can think of that you two may have in common.
Just talk about each other's days and see what comes up.
I've gotten to know guys online before as well.

I just met somebody online... all I asked was what he was interested in (music, movies), his hobbies, what type of personality he had (nice, smart, etc.), what type of friends he hangs out with (preppy, popular, goth, etc.), and then we started randomly speaking about many things. Just be yourself... don't create tension (I always fear the tension and it actually makes the conversations fall apart.)

Are you expecting him to tell you the truth? Are you gullible enough to beleive what he tells you online? You can ask him anything you want about who he is. The main question remains, are you going to beleive it?

asl and what he does for a living. you can also ask about his/her religion as it becomes a big issue afterwards. ask if they have a gf or wife and if not, why? these questions. but dont reveal your phone no and address on the first chat.

number one why is he single,how long has he been single, what happen with his last relationship.what are his plans for the furture.you got to find out what kind of guy he is most times you don't find out how a person is until you live with them so be careful.

I would ask for him to tell me a little bit about him. Ask him if he graduated, college What he doesn't like, and what he does like think of things you would like to know and ask it needs to be interesting to both of you.

Fave music....music says alot about a person...last thing you do before going to bed..first thing you do when you get up...Fave person in the world? why? whats his style?
what does he want to be when he grows up?
stuff like that? just be prepared to answer the questions too....
