Distilled means that the water is boiled and the steam is collected and cooled so the water is liquid again. Some of the impurities are boiled away or left behind. I doubt there is an FDA approved definition for purified water.

the people who feel wonderful after taking colloidal silver are experiencing what is known as the placebo effect. and the people who never get sick are associating not getting sick with taking colloidal silver. in reality there may be many reasons why they dont get sick. and try to use a little common sense here. What benefits would a biologically inactive substance have on the body? the body doesnt use silver for anything. If colloidal silver was such a good thing then doctors would be prescribing it all the time. it would be all over the news. but it is not, because it doesnt work. and just look at the wikipedia page on it. there is a reason why it has been banned from making the claims that it used to make. "In August 1999, the FDA banned colloidal silver sellers from claiming any therapeutic or preventive value for the product, noting colloidal silver was being marketed for numerous diseases without evidence of safety or effectiveness.[47] As a result, the product now has the status of a dietary supplement in the US; it can be promoted with general "structure-function" claims, but cannot be marketed as preventing or treating any illness.[47] Following this ruling, the FDA has issued numerous Warning Letters to Internet sites that have continued to promote colloidal silver as an antibiotic or for other medical purposes.[66][67] In 2002, the Australian Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) found there were no legitimate medical uses for colloidal silver and no evidence to support its marketing claims. Given the associated safety risks, the TGA concluded "efforts should be made to curb the illegal availability of colloidal silver products, which is a significant public health issue."[68] of course, none of this matters to you because you are hellbent on taking it. so go ahead and destroy your liver. THERE IS NOT 1 MD WHO WOULD SAY TAKING COLLOIDAL SILVER IS GOOD FOR YOU AND ANY MD WHO SAYS THAT SHOULD HAVE HIS OR HER MEDICAL LICENSE TAKEN AWAY FOR PROMOTING IT!

NO! distilled water is purified AND contains no minerals, where purified water can contain chemical harmful to your plants; such as chlorine, fluorine and bromine. Tap water can be used for any of your plants if you boil it for 10 minutes, this will evaporate the harmful chemical(s) used by your city's water department to make it 'safe' for you to drink. remember to allow the water to completely cool to room temperature before putting it on your plants.
