Isn't it illogical that people who believe in God would not believe in other Paranormal things?

it seems there is as much proof for aliens , telekinesis , astrology , unicorns , and on and on

i mean if you believe in an omnipotent being that cast out one of his own and now wars with him for peoples immortal souls how can you say anything is not possible

You could take the perspective of some people and "just have faith". No need to use reason or logic, no need to ask, no need to doubt.....JUST HAVE FAITH!

not really, because for instance Unicorns have nothing to do with telekinesis, astrology is unrelated to aliens, and so on.
Not believing in something and calling it impossible are also 2 different things, if I were to suggest that there was a giant potato behind jupiter, would you believe that? I really hope not, but it is possible.

however, if god is omnipotent then it IS illogical to say he is not in complete control, so that leaves 3 possibilities.

1. god is a big fat lie.

2. god causes bad things to occur because he enjoys being cruel.

3. god causes bad things to occur because due to his omniscience he realizes conflict and change strengthens us.

My guess is either 1. or 3. not sure which.

You seem to be grouping into one bag things which are incompatible, like astrology which is perfectly valid and scientifically accurate to those who understand it, with aliens which is much more controversial, and unicorns that have died out about a million of years ago.

The belief in any of the above has very little to do with a belief in God, to most people.

Easy, the Bible teaches on all those subjects. Aliens, according to descriptions and according to the Bible, are most likely demonic beings -though a few may be, and I stress may, angelic. Telekinesis and astrology are satanic and prohibited by the Bible. Unicorns? Only the New Age Movement believes in those - refer back to last answer. The New Age Movement is not so new and is satanically inspired. How do I know these things? A tree is known by the fruit which it bears and the Bible teaches all I need to know. One more thing; Satan and his demons were indeed cast out by God but they are definitely not "one of His own". They are creatures which rebelled against God who were banished from the Heaven of heavens for their rebellion. They are also creatures that are destined for the Lake of fire. Kind of gives you pause for thought, eh?

Although I am sure these things exist, I think somewhere in the Bible it specifically states not to get involved with the things from the dead-plane (can't remember the specific story, but a prophet told the king to get rid of all the spiritualists in Israel, and the king consulted a spiritualist to find a friend, I think, and the prophet yelled at him for it).

interesting question until i read the unicorn bit. but i see where you are going with it. supposedly there are god fearing people and for all we know is all a bunch of made up stories that we should believe in but are considered strange if you really believe that other forms of life exist other than on our planet and maybe even beyond our universe.
