Do cardio exercises make you slimmer and thinner? I'm just wondering because I want to lose weight, and I'm planning on dancing 3 times a week and play tennis 2 times a week? I really need to know if dancing will make you thinner, fast dancing, not the slow ones.

Yes...sustained cardiovascular activity such as you have planned when combined with a sensible diet will typically make you slimmer and thinner. I lost 50 lbs in 7 week by exercising 6 days per week and eating 1 good solid meal each day. A year later, I have keep all of it off.

Any exercise, if you keep the same eating habits, will help you lose weight. Dancing and tennis sound like good workouts so enjoy!

Any activity where you are in the cardio range for at least 20 minutes will do the trick. SIngles tennis, yes. Doubles...maybe not.

cardio burns fat, dancing is ok if it makes you huff and puff like running does or bike riding really fast. tennis is a good one usually to make you breathe hard. you also need muscle toning type exercises like crunches and such to get the specific areas tightened up.
