Seriously, for the past few months I've thought about this. Day after day, and I've come to the conclusion that people really shouldn't feel sorry for themselves if they aren't in a relationship. Most of us are better off alone, think about it, if you check out my sources below you'll find that the average from 90-02 rate on divorces (ages were not given) is about 36.4%. Its considered BAD to ask for a pre-nup, its considered DISTRUST if you ask your partner for STDs. Its considered bad if you don't fully trust your partner, and why is this? Because people always want that chance, however small it is to screw you over. What is a relationship anyway, a bunch of arguing and fighting that turns in to marriage to solve the problems? I say it is they who should not feel sorry for us, but WE should feel sorry for them! Those who are in relationships are the ones who suffer!
So I ask my question once again, Why do people feel so sorry for themselves if they aren't in a relationship?

Don't trust anyone, if you do and you get screwed over, its your own fault.
