I recently was given a KLH Digital TV. The problem is that the parental control is on, and I don't have the passcode, so the V-chip will not let me watch any R rated movies. Is there any way to either reset the passcode or turn the V-chip off without knowing the current code? Incidentally, the model number is: KT2006, and the TV was made in Feb. 2003. Thanks to anyone who can help me with this.

If you have an instruction booklet, you might want to check if you can somehow reset it. Also, you can always get information about your TV on the internet if you don't have an instruction booklet.

try using "0000" or "1234"; that's the usual reset password for most V-Chip tv's and cable boxes
