For as long as I could remember, I have felt like I'm fat, I look in the mirror and see fat that no one else seems to see. Lately, in the last month or two, I have been restricting my eating to 600 calories a day. I exercise as much as I can, I count every calorie I eat. I even cry if I see food most times...I don't know what to do...I see pictures of woman, their ribs showing and I want to look like them. I want to end up like that...I don't know whats wrong with me. I hate myself...Is this an eating disorder? Or is it just normal...

Going by the information you gave it sounds like you have Anorexia. I know, I suffered from it myself for 4 years. I am 5'8" and I wieghed 88lbs. You need help before you get worse. My family held an intervention on me b/c I couldn't/wouldn't ask for help. The first step is to seek medical attention.
Every level is different. Maybe you can handle outpatient treatment but you might need a three day inpatient rest where they evaluate you and figure if you need more intense treatment, if you need medication, and what steps to take.
Call your family doctor, tell them you think you have a problem with an eating disorder and they will set you up with a good psychiatrist.
I also think you should throw out an 'thinspiration' pics you have, they wont help.
You are facing an uphill battle, I wish you a lot of luck, it's very hard to deal.

No, it is not normal, but you're not alone. I couldn't tell you whether you have an eating disorder at not, but at the very least, you definitely do not have a healthy relationship with food in your life or a positive body image. Continuing on the path you are on will likely lead to more restrictions, more self-hate, and more exercise. And I guarantee that once you reach your goal of having your ribs show, you still won't be happy, and you could die.
If you want help (and I strongly urge you get it before it is too late), you can admit it to someone close to you and ask to get care for your food and body issues. At the stage you are right now, you may even be able to get outpatient care so that you do not have to leave your life to stay in a facility for emergency care.
I wish you the best of luck.

to my opinion yes it is a eating disorder, but i'm not a doctor go see one and second 600 calories a day it's one of the worse things to do your body is in what they call starvation mode and it's storing fat, get up to 1200 calories a day and get that furnance burning. Go see your doctor and have a long talk with him about how you feel

Anorexia nervosa is an eating disorder characterized by refusal to stay at even the minimum body weight considered normal for the person's age and height. Other symptoms of the disorder include an intense fear of weight gain and distorted body image. Inadequate eating or excessive exercising results in severe weight loss.
... Please go see a doctor. You are hurting yourself!

hun, talk to someone you trust... a boyfriend or a best friend or a parent. i've struggled with both belemia and annorexia for years and the first step is talking to someone. 600 calories is concitered starvation. how tall are you and how much do you weigh? i bet anything your not fat. see a doctor and tell them everything. try not to be so critical of yourself. it really sounds like you have the beginnings of an eating disorder to me.
getting help early is your best defense. take care and good luck sweetie

Yes, it is quite likely that you are developing an eating disorder, from your description (although none of us here can diagnose you). I would speak to someone about your problem and see a doctor, who can refer you to a specialist.
The first step to overcoming an eating disorder, is admitting you have a problem and seeking help....that is half the battle. The next step is seeing treatment through, so that you can overcome your eating disorder. Good luck : )

As i can tell you may have a very severe eating disorder called Anarexia it may seem normal to you but it has very sever effects such as death coma and many more horrible effects if i were you i would see a doctor as soon as possible and their most likely going to put you in therapy so you must take care of yourself you also have very low self esteem. Please take care of yourself and dont restrict your intake of calories its natural were all changing and it all depends on your metabalism and your intake of food and also your height and who cares what other people thinki its not like were all barbie and ken god would of made us plastic and fake if he wanted us that way!

yes it is, please go to the doctor or talk with someone your ocmfortable, get them to go with you if you want. It is not a solution. Just eat normal, healthy and you will be thin. You dont want to be too thin where you can see ribs. It doesnt look nice.
