Ok. I asked the quesiton about why I have to ask forgiveness for being the way god made me (as in a sinner since we are all sinners) and was told that god didn't make us sinners it was our free will that caused us to be sinners.

I then asked if anybody had lived a sin free life like I had and was told that it is impossible to do that according to the bible.

Now I will try ask this as clearly as I can. If it is totally impossible for me to live a life without sin, then it what sense is it my free will that causes me to sin? Free will would mean I have a choice either to sin or not sin, but the bible clearly says that I HAVE to sin. So that would bring me back to my first question. Why would I have to ask forgiveness for sinning if I have no choice but to sin?

Sweety God has given us the Bible and told us the many ways to kill the flesh witch is what causes you to sin, trying to please your flesh instead of your spirit makes you sin and keeps you sinning. If I listen to my flesh I would curse out every doubter here, but because I love God and I know that everything I do should give him glory I chose not to listen to or make provisions for the flesh, and yes you can live free of sin once you willingly accept the blood of Christ that's why he died. So not only do I have the word of God to live by I have the strength of the Holy Spirit to resist sin and be free from sin. Fasting and praying allows you to live by the spirit and not by the flesh..... SO NO YOU DO NOT HAVE TO SIN But, doesn't it feel good to know that if I do slip up God will not turn his back on me but, keep giving me chances to get it right, living for Jesus and ending up perfect in God's will is what I strive for as a Christian.
Matt 26:41
41Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
(KJV)

The Bible does not say you HAVE to sin. You have a CHOICE to sin, you do something you know is wrong, or you choose not to. Simple. Thats your choice.

What you dont have a choice in is that you are BORN a sinner, because Adam and Eve sinned, they were no longer sinless, and so their off spring could not be. Because of THAT sin, wich you have no choice in, you dont have to ask forgivness. You most only recognize it, and accept that Christs death washes it away.

So, there is no need to apologize for being a born sinner, merely recognize it and give it to God. it is the sins you CHOOSE to do, lying, stealing, etc.... that you apologize, ask forgivness for. Make sense?

You seem to have the assumption that you were "made to sin", and that's not true. You inherited a sinful nature and deserve hell just like every other human being that walked the planet since Adam. In fact, save for the grace of God, there is no inclination whatsoever to look to Him for salvation. It's only the ones that have had their eyes opened by the Holy Spirit that even realize their need for forgiveness.

Man is man not God. You can sin without even realizing it. Are you worried about this question? Then you have sinned. It is a sin to worry. Man is not perfect and never will be. That is why you ask God for forgiveness and guidance. God made us thinking creatures with the ability to make choices and correct wrongs when we find we have made them. That is free will.

The Bible says we are slaves to sin. ( Romans 6) We do have a choice, but without obeying God all of the time we cannot escape sin.

The bible does not say that we have to sin, but that sin "so easily ensnares us" (Hebrews 12:1-2) It is constant thing that we have to be aware of. When we accept Jesus Christ as our savior, his blood covers our sins, and it is if we have not sinned. However, this does not give us license to sin or to embrace "cheap grace" like many in the Christian community have done. It is true that we have free will and that we can and do sometimes still sin. But as you develop a greater relationship with Jesus, you will no longer have the desire to do so.

Sin was passed on to all of Adam's offspring including us, even though we didn't ask for it we are sinners, imagine this, you take a bread pan and put a dent in it, every loaf of bread from that pan will have an imperfection from that dent in the pan, it's the same way with Adam, he became imperfect when he sinned and passed that imperfection on to every human born from him. Every day we sin inadvertently even though we don't want to, have you gone over the speed limit?, have you told a creditor you'd pay them on a certain date but something out of your control prevented you from making that date?, well that's a lie then, have you ever said anything hurtful to anybody?, have you helped out your neighbor?, I think you get the idea. We sin no matter how hard we would try not to, and this is not God's fault. He provided a way for us to ask for forgiveness through his Son Christ Jesus.

well , the Bible didnot declare that you have to sin no, the bible showing us that we are as human are sinners and need God's help to overcome the sin. When you accept the Lord Jesus as your personal saviour directly the Holy Spirit come and lives inside you. The Holy Spirit is God Himself who will give you the power and will encourage you to live a life that glorify His name .as a human you will make sins but step by step you will hate the sin and Listen to what the bible says " No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God's seed remains in him ; he cannot go on sinning because he has been born of God" 1 John 3:9 so as you see you cannot go sinning dear coz you will hate it but lets say you will .. do you think that because you did it that is mean you gonna do it again and again ? No. if you are really born of God and respect the Holy one who lives in you you will not but let me tell you more He himself will help you to overcome this sin. but if you keep doing it you will be punished for doing this sin and i know people who died with cancers because of they were keep doing sins and they are born of God , why because God is Holy and He does not want us to bring blam to his name before this world.
your question looks like since you will doing sin so why i should ask for forgiveness , so let me do it agian and again ... becareful dear .. don't play in the fire .. Sins are like a fire maybe a small flame but can burn all your body . take care

by the way the Lord Jesus is coming soon and " Let him who does wrong continue to do wrong; let him who is vile continue to be vile; let him who does right conitinue to do right; and let him who is holy continue to be holy." Revelation 22:11

We inherited our sin nature from Adam. Now we need a saviour who will pay for our sins. That's why Jesus came to die for us.Now ,if you do sin,and we all do, you ask Him for forgiveness and He is faithful and true to forgive. It's like when He died for us ,we got a complete bath and were clean, now we have to go back to Him from time to time and wash up.
Read 1rst John 1,the whole chapter talks of this.(It's 5 books from the back of the Bible)
We are always going to sin,we can't help it ,but we can contain it,and it's alot easier when he helps than trying to "will it" yourself.

you do have a choice not to sin but your not perfect, your human and God knows this which is why He allows it which is also why you must ask for forgiveness and if you truly mean it when you ask that is the only time you truly are sin less
