If he has a college degree and a job, why would he still live at home unless he either:
1) is unable to take care of himself (lets Mom do it....again)
2) due to student loans, cannot afford his own place - but could find someone to share rent if he WANTED to be grown up and independent

No, I did date someone like that once, briefly, until I figured that he was a typical "Peter Pan" and never was going to grow up. That doesn't mean that is true of all people in that situation, but once burned, twice shy.

Yeah, as long as he plans on moving out later. By 22+, I'm hoping you mean above 22 and below 30.

He's gotta have a valid reason for living at his parents after 30. I mean VALID, whatever that reason may be.

If he has a full-time job and a college degree, that can only two things - 1) he's a penny pincher and won't buy a house unless ABSOLUTELY necessary, and 2) he's looking for a job and he needs place to shack for the meantime.

Yes, definately I would date... The whole living at home thing, I think is ok. As long as you got your **** together. If you lived at home and no job and so on, thats another thing. That shows that you are not responsible and have nothing going for yourself. But if you have all that, I wouldn't think it would be a problem. But eventually after a little school, since you already have a job, look for a place of your own. Its always good to have your own place anyway....

He is still young and just hasn't found his exact place in life yet. I'd say over 25 is pushing it, but less than that give him a chance but walk away at the slightest sign of instability in his mental status.
Also, watch for indications that he is mature such as does he do his own laundry? Do the yardwork and repairs at the home? Respectful to his parents? Saving money and maintaining a good credit record. all of these are VERY important.

theres nothing wrong with living at home when your young and just finished college. save, make goals, and get a career going (not a job). a girl who likes u is going to understand and be with you cuz she likes u.

Well you shouldn't live with your parents in the first place.
Well if you find the right girl why would she bother about the where abouts of your bed room?
I mean after all you shouldn't have sex before marriage.
