Your employer shoud give you a w-2 form in January, it should state all that you have made. If he doesn't, then he has been working you under the table and has stolen the tax money.

If you do not recieve any paystub then you are probably not going to get a w-2 at the beginning of the year. I would say if he is paying you cash then he is just pocketing what he is saying is taxes. Go to him and tell him that you want to know how you are going to get the proof of what he is taking out in taxes from you so you can claim them at tax time and see what he says. If he says you cannot claim it at tax time then tell him that he better quit taking out taxes and you want all the money back or you are contacting the IRS and he will start squirming.

I don taxes and i have been doing them for 7 years. That is illegal. He is not going to claim the payroll when he does his taxes, so he can pay a lower tax. Also you cant claim it because you will NOT recieve the paperwork needed (W2). If he gives you a Form 1099 dont use it because you will be paying double taxes. Right now he is commiting Tax Fraud and you need to quit get another job if you want a refund and to keep the IRS off your butt. Call the IRS 1-800-829-1040 and report it now.

If the other answerers prove to be correct that your employer is pocketing the money and will not issue a W-2, then you should contact your state attorney general's office - labor/employment division as well as the IRS.

You better call the IRS right now. You are gonna get screwed at tax time, and your employer isn't gonna claim any of it,and probably isn't paying taxes for you.It sounds like your employer is scamming you.

What he/they are doing is illegal and should be reported. If he is investigated by IRS or your local authorities, you could be in serious trouble as well. Not to mention if anything ever happened and you needed to get workmans compensation or unemployment, you would have no proof of employment. You need to demand proof of employment from them or I would be making a phone call. Good luck.
