There is this really beautiful girl that rides with me on the bus. She is always saying Hi and asking me how I'm doing. The thing is she says it to a few other guys too (the hi stuff but not trying to sparka convo.) And when ever she tries sparking a conversation, due to my shyness, was only able to answer one sentence answers. Now she doesn't ask to many question, but she is till constant with the hi's and smiles. Does she like me and now doesn't or was she being nice? Are there any other possible explainations?

It sounds like you have a crush on her. You could: 1) Just pretend that you don't like her and that she doesn't like you, so there's no pressure; all of the nervousness comes from you wanting to make sure you don't say anything stupid. 2) Ask her out if you're confident that she likes you (which I am). However, if you go with option 1, then you might be able to find out if she likes you or not.

Sounds like she is friendly. She may not have considered if you 'like' her or not. Girls love shy guys, especially friendly girls. Best bet, try and find out from her or her NOT-so close friends what she is interested in. Very casually. Then the next time she has words for you, you can enjoy it longer. Could be something simple like if she is a 'cat' person or 'dog' person and you are too. If she likes any music you like or has seen a movie you have. Work on focusing how fun it will be to actually talk to her. Keep the 'like' stuff out of the picture until she displays clear interest, starts inviting you places. well by saying Hi , unless she is married, she is opening door for any potential mate. You should have considered talking to her and see how things go. I mean you don't necessarily have to date her or anything , even making friends is a good thing. Who knows you might marry her sister . you know. So talk to anyone. Don't be shy. And don't always think about finding a mate, I love the smiling "Hi " of anyone, lady/guy/police..anyone.
The Hi is the gateway to many possiblities.

Hi Just, Sounds like she is a very happy person and enjoy's talking to people she meet's. If she is still saying hi and smiling she maybe interested in you. Get over your shyness and start talking to her. Sounds like she is worth the time.

It's not a matter of does she like you because maybe she doesn't like you but the possibility of her liking you is always there! I think you need to open up some more, you dont need conversation starters because obviously she tries to talk to you and you dont talk back. I think if you dont talk her soon she's going to think youre stuck up or not even interrested in her! Ask her about her algerbra, or even if ya'll have a class together..the weather..anything..just talk to her!

You need to practice a few things to talk to her about. Ask her about a popular movie that you have seen. See if she has seen it and liked it. Talk to her about one of your teachers or a homework assignment. You can find some little things that you have in common and just say a few sentences about them. You don't have to talk too much to let her know you enjoy her company.

My young friend, she likes you, BUT,,,,, she likes the real you, try to relax, NO Expeditions, just be yourself and have fun. She is not wanting you to impress her, she already that, she wants to talk with you. Try to find some interests that you both have in common, even if it's only one. Talk to her, then once you relax, things will come more natural to you.

exude confidence. accept that your heart is going to race when you start to speak with her but thats part of the all the fun of getting to know someone. you are only going to get closer to her by talking to her and showing her your interested. just know what your going to talk about before you approach her. find something you have in common.
