I've answered many questions concerning love tonight, & now I have my own quesion...again. If you were a 7th grade boy who is in love with a 7th grade girl & you knew the girl was in love with you but never told you & she was your best friend & you go nervous whenever you wanted to ask her about her feelings for you even at perfect opertunities *Big inhale* what would you do?
PS, the girl knows you love her.

You might wanna read my other question, as well as my answer for the question "how do americans describe love" or whatever it was. Unlike most kids, I DO know what love means.

If you look closely, the question asks "what would you do?" not "what should I do?"

Don't want to be mean here, but at 13 or 14 years old, ya'll ain't in love. Not in that aspect of it. Ya'll are severely diggin on each other, but love?...I don't think so. Maybe puppy love. And no, just because a couple is in their 20's or 30's doesn't mean they are in love either just because they feel butterflies in the stomache and all that.
Now the nervous part is natural. It happens at any age. To both of ya. Just cross that bridge and tell her how you feel. You just gotta take the first step and that's always hard. You're nervous, and scared all at the same time. That's where that big inhale comes from. However, prepare yourself. She may not feel the way you do. It could be your emotions playing a bad trick on ya. So accept it and move on. Don't let it get you down.

First off when you are in 7th grade you dont even know what love is. You cant say you love someone and expect them to love you too. 7th grade is what 12-13 years old. Grow up first and then live your life and decide if that person is right for you. Of course if you are still talking to the other.

And in 7th grade you feel that you have a plethora of knowledge concerning the emotional turmoil that we call love?
Paging Dr. Ruth Jr. Paging Dr. Phil Jr. We have ourselves a prodigy!
Try getting an objective answer from your numerous insights on the subject. Hell, son, I am 46 years old and still am trying to figure it all out.

If you and she are old enough to date, would ask her out on a date, and let her know that it was not just "hanging out with her best bud" sort of thing. Is there a school dance coming up? Letting her know that you would love to take her there is very different than "just going and hanging out together".
Oh, and just reading what you wrote, it sounds like you both like each other, it is just not 'out in the open'. Go for it. Nothing ventured, nothing gained, kiddo.

Go for it, if you have strong feelings for this girl and she has the same feelings for you, dont hold off to long before someone else comes and takes her from you. Try to work up the courage to ask her, just sit and talk to her about things and slowly work your way into asking her on a date, and go from there. GOOD LUCK
