i love both. pork chops with mashed potatos, baked and/or cooked ham is also a favorite in a latin household.
a ham steak with eggs for breakfast is pure indulgence with some pancakes on the side. mmmmmmm

HAM!!! Turkey ham is a great substitute for people that do not eat pork.
