I know they're made from mold but does anyone know the process in which it is made into a pill?

Well one of the first antibiotics. "Penicillan ' was discovered from the mold "Penicillium". However almost all antibiotics made today are synthetic- made in a chemistry lab. Pharmacists know which organic chemical groups interfere with the growth of different bacteria, and they are put together in an organic chemistry lab and compounded into a solid tablet (for adults), an injectable sterile liquid (for intravenous use) or a dry powder to be mixed with water as a susppension for pediatric use.
Hope this is helpful
