Curves prices vary by location. Right now all US locations are running a "Rest of the Year Free" special, where you just pay the sign-up fee ($75 at most locations) and then no monthly dues until after January 1. The monthly dues vary depending on the cost of operation. In rural areas you can expect them to be around $29, while some locations charge as much as $50/month.
Curves is very different than conventional gyms. Instead of adjusting each machine with weights, they're based on hydraulic resistance, so the harder you push and pull, the more resistance you'll get. You'll be on each machine for 30 seconds, so treat it like a sprint! Between the machines, you'll jog or march on a "recovery station", which is designed to keep your heart rate elevated while your muscles recover oxygen.
The best thing to do is to call up your local Curves and make an appointment for a tour and a figure analysis (which is always free). The coaches will be happy to show you around and answer all your questions.

i have joined Curves about two months ago, and in each area it's a little different:
first of all will it be a month by month plan or will it be a full year.
This is how they go in the begining plus theres a join up fee. Your best bet is to go in and talk to one of the girls before hand. Mine talked to me for about 45 mins. showed me around and explained all. They were really great.
on a personal note since i've been with them theses past few months i've already lost about eight inches total and i love it..... it seems i no soner get in there and start to work and the session is over.

I don't know how much you can expect to pay, but most gyms have deals with local companies to give employee discounts. They range from 10% off to free if employers pay the full omount. So I would check into that before you commit to paying anything! Good luck!

well if you go online to
http://www.curves.com/locations/
find a location nearest you and they probably have a free trial coupon..where the two of you could go and experience it...it's not right for everyone......i could find no location that would give any pricing...and yes you do have to have a membership to go after the free trial
