Well, I thought about this and it seems like there would be more dead birds around. But it also seems like there should be more dead animals of all kinds around. You don't see many dead raccoons, rabbits, or squirrels, either. Yep, there are scavengers that eat dead animals and microbes that decompose them. Clearly they are doing a good job!

regardless of the carcass sightings --- i have truly been intrigued by the thought of , indeed , where do birds go to die !?
for all the birds that are in the sky at any one time ( and lets not forget that , yes they don't live long --- except for parrots --- ) where are they ? where are the corpses ?
sure cats and other predators --- even accidents with cars or window panes --- contribute --- but no real decisive explanation as to where they ( birds ) do finally die naturally !!
it is indeed a strange phenomenon --- because i suppose there are so many -- and indeed --- some breed faster than others --- so as to shrug off the idea that some just disappear --- if so , where ???

We (Sasquatches) are truely sorry when this happens, but, hey, a Sasquatch has to eat too. I'm sick and tired of berries and leaves! We need real food, just like you!

If (the dead bird) did not die of illness, then it is fair game (same as any other carcass (well, within reason - like we won't eat another Sasquatch or Human (as we are similar)).

Anyway, they taste like chicken! As to the bones, we (Sasquatches) like the crunch!

Hope this helps!

Dead birds, like most other dead animals, are usually eaten by other wildlife, and what isn't eaten, is decomposed.

They're eaten by scavengers such as opossums, coyotes, raccoons, hawks, crows, etc. Insects also feed off of them.
